In 1996 she made her first appearance in film with a minor role as a minor character in Girl 6. She then was seen as a character in New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo was a part of NBC's crime-drama Law & Order for a recurring part as Detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages came out, as did Blue Bloods.
